Hi Everyone and welcome to latest news from the world of miniatures.
Everyday that passes, Wartile grows in content, features, polish and community. Seeing the growing interest in this project is a tremendous motivation for keep going, improving adding and optimizing everything we have built up so far and we can’t wait to share it all with you. We still have a lot of work to do on Wartile, but we think its almost time to share the game with those of you who want to be an active part of its development.
Next Update in Closed Alpha
With the next major update, we focus on the multiplayer experience, introducing a better quick match system and friend invites. So, if you want to give your friends an honest beating make sure they
sign up to the Closed Alpha and share your stories about your (hopefully) winning experience.
Looking at the past and future updates.
During the last few months we have created a lot of new content and tweaked many features, you can view all our patch notes from our News section on steam. For now lets just look at some of the highlights.
The Lost Norse Battle Board
A new battle board visiting a dark and mysterious swap, with long lost vikings roaming around protecting the secrets of the place.
Earning your warrior rings
Your Warrior figurines can now gain experience, level up and unlock new abilities cards and stat points.
Caves
Especially at the Hillside battle board we have been adding deeper and more dangerous caves that offers new paths through the unfriendly landscape. We aim in the future to develop these caves further so that players can reveal secret areas, objectives and maybe even discover rare loot.
Cranking it up a notch
When asking our community how hard they think the game was this very mush sums it up. Our goal is to make Wartile easy to learn, but not necessarily easy to master. So with our the next update we crank the difficulty up a bit and hopefully give you a challenge worth your time.

Received funding from Zaxis ApS
We are also happy to announce that we have received founding from Zaxis ApS. This allow us to further develop and polish Wartile before going early access on Steam. Zaxis ApS is also behind Zaxis games who are producing Fimbul The Jotun Child, another really cool Viking game.
