Hey everyone,
Its been a long time since our last post. Again, I don't have much to say about this but sorry. Our company had major changes this month (started at end of october) and we are in rush with a lot of things (including other bigger priority projects). But not more, I am bringing fresh news.
Police Tactics is still here, it's part of a dream project I, the lead developer and founder of Odin Game Studio, wanted to develop for a very long time. That's was one of the parts we changed the launch scope in last months, when we decided to not release the alpha so soon, cause then we could finish more features of the game. With rush, some parts of the game are not good enough to release, one of then is performance that is still not good as I wanted.
The game also is still in our featured games in our website, that's one of the points I want you to know that the project is alive and still will be. For this, we wanted to get back to our main goal of the game and also fix somethings now that could end badly when we release the game (resulting in angry players, lol). So, we will re-write many features parts, including car AI/physics and NPCs, to become better and to respect our new feature: coop multiplayer. That's right. We know we could focus in the single player sandbox part, but since we will need to re-write many code parts of the game, we can anticipate this feature.
Not only this. Also, with the recent launch of the GTA 5 and the new FR Mod from LCPDFR, I think most of you will be very busy with these games, lol. I mean, you know how difficult is to an indie game and team to get their spot in games industry, we cannot just throw our small fish (that will grow with time for sure) in a sea of sharks. Anyway, these recent launchs were just a coincidence in our calendar, not a planning.
As soon as I have more news in our game dev, I will keep posting here.
Thanks again for those who still believe in a true police game where you can have many good actions and save citizens, instead of just causing the panic and pain for others (dramatic huh?).

I've been waiting for a coop police game where you just go out on patrol in the open world and conduct police duties FOREVER. Dear god I can't put in words how much I appreciate this.

Está no grupo dos BRs porque, não me lembro quem, pediu para colocar pois se tratava de um game brasileiro também. Se você for o admin e não puder colocar, me avise que eu tiro com prazer, pois atitudes assim me lembram o porque de nosso público ser geralmente o estrangeiro ;)
Thanks for the update! It's not easy making games (especially when those do it mostly alone like me). You have loads of objects in that scene :D Waypoints are cheaper than auto navigation even if it's a pain to set up.
