yes. please visit our main website for more information
Hi, if you have an Intel graphics card, please try to update your driver directly from Intel. Older drivers have some bugs that do not fully support the card's hardware.
Hmm, I never saw this bug. What path did you install the game in? Maybe check if the game has shut down properly (if there still is a javaw.exe running in the process manager).
I'll take a look at the log.
I don't even have the blueprints for this ship. This is the work of an anonymous player of /vg/.
yes. all platforms can join the same servers
Give StarMade a try. It's free, maybe you like it. There are already multiplayer servers in different parts of the world.
Hi, there is a good guide for docking in the wiki here: Star-made.org
There seems something wrong with uploading. You can see the video at: Youtube.com
Sorry for the inconvenience.
DJM4C - Polarized (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/517246)
the official US server is 18.104.22.168:4242
you're welcome to play
The physics are on a setting to test at the moment. I will up the friction and fine tune it, once I'm sure it's robust.
Only one station or planet per faction may be the home base and is indestructible. Stations can't move, so they won't be a problem. Ships with the faction block can't be entered by others, but are destructible. Ships only get indestructible when they are docked onto the home base station of their faction
ah yeah, never rely on auto-correct :)
Good point. It will be around 90 default in the next version. Thanks for the tip!
Yes, there will always be a free to play version
You're probably near a sun
Yeah, you can, although I'll exclude stuff inside a planet atmosphere from the sun damage soon. Once this is done, the game will also run much faster in your sector, since ultra long ray casts are very costly with huge objects like planets
I really appreciate it!
yes, the sun will slowly destroy your ship :)
you can hide behind asteroids though
Thanks for playing the game :D, and thank you for your support!
I'm planning to implement "floating stacks" when you destroy anything of value (like a chest), so you won't loose the content when you destroy a chest. This system will also be cooperated with mob kills for some extra gain from those.
navigation has a bug when you go from a rotational system (near a sun) to void, as sometimes it wont register the sector change. Ill fix that asap. Also there will soon be maps and route planning for better navigation
yeah, that wording wasn't the best. of course there will also be inhabitable planets :)
sure, there are a variety of admin commands: go to Star-made.org for a list
nice work, good luck with the update Dirkson!
There will be bigger planets, and also life forms on every planet.
I really appreciate it!
there is already real gravity on planets. you can also use the landing module to do a less "destructive" landing.
that might be a graphics card problem. you can send in a report with the tool in your starmade directory called CrashAndBugReporter.jar (double click it)
Try it out, and see for yourself :)
the plan is that the further you go out, the more mutated the planets become and start taking elements from other planets, etc.. Therefore, you can endlessly travel outward and always find something new and rare.
Yeah, there is going to be shops on the planet. The original shop design was pretty much made on the spot, but I still kind of like it ^^
