I like to create GoldSRC maps, especially love the not so detailed, old-school style. I also translate STALKER mods to English in my free time. Really impressive. I like this area a lot. But remember: This is a scifi shooter and not an office simulator. Some more light variety might look good here. Other than white that is.

Ideas: a Yellow or green shining hand scanner next to the door at the center.

Or a red light on top the same door indicating that it is locked. Like I did in Military Duty in that Storage hall where the tram ended. Perhaps some light and yet another but transparent vent next behind the brown pipes. The lights would sit inside the vent shining partially into the room.

Or a good old vending machine but that might be not so fitting here.

I know gamer-lab, but I'm trying to create maps with what HL gives me so far, without any extra textures, models etc.

There is a vending machine here by the way :) Do you see the two scientist talking to the left? That's where it is.

One of the pre-disaster maps of a possible mod, still work in progress.

This is the lobby of this part of the lab, I want everyone to be busy with something and make the maps look lively with activity everywhere, before the good old BM incident happens.
