Steam treats SteamOS as 'SteamOS and Linux', there's no option to have one or the other - I can only click the 'SteamOS/Linux' option in the admin panel. So no worries, the StreamOS is actually the Linux build. ;)

Huh, that's weird! I just checked on my machine (Ubuntu 19), and it downloads, installs and plays normally! Do you still have issues with installing the game?
