can you port weapon models from quake arena arcade to quake 3 arena please?
I dont own a copy of quake arena arcade, so that is a obstacle.
If the assets of quake arena arcade are saved in .pk3 files or something similiar, it should be doable.
By looks of it the only thing changed on those weapon models are the textures anyway.
Could you try to read your quake arena arcade dvd on a pc to see if those .pk3 files are accessible?
Cox-internet.com
is my wishlist for shooters.
Since you suggest installing to another directory rather than in Q3's, You might want to make it where your engine can reference pak0.pak outside of quake's normal directory structure. that would eliminate the need to copy or hardlink, and would allow it to be on another partition entirely.
