I once read that it's just one guy that works on this game. Is that still true? If yes, he puts almost every other game developer to shame.

Thank you for the article. Very interesting. Especially the part about the tools you use and for what you use them.
Impressive work! Where did you get all these animations from? Did you create them yourself or did you extract them from one of the original games?
Looks really interesting! But it seems as if your AI needs some improvements: You've attacked the red horde as soon as you saw it but the red horde doesn't seem to know about this trick, does it?
Also, the last minutes weren't as interesting because it was clear that blue would win and that it was just a matter of time when that would happen. Other than that: Keep up the good work!
I really like the atmospheric quality of that!
Thanks again! I can't emphasize enough how helpful your answers are.
Thank you in heaps for your honest answer! It's really valuable to see how much time other devs need for certain tasks. I'm really bad at e.g. estimating the development time for certain features. Do you have any strategies? How did you estimate the development times for your roadmap?
Very impressive and very helpful statistics! Did you do everything on your own (art, business, web, etc.)? How much time did it take you to write this article?
Thanks and I definitely hope so, too. ;D
Thank you! :D Sorry for the delay. I thought replying to every comment would appear silly but I didn't know that replying would also authorize anonymous comments.
Your comment will cost me even more clicks. :)
I'm glad to hear that. Actually, I'm aiming at animating the eyebrows and mouth, too, to hopefully reach a similar quality of facial expressions as in The Wind Waker.
Thanks in heaps for your kind words and yes, I'm from Germany. :)
Yeah! I'm currently working alone, so it might take some time for updates. I'm glad that you like it, though. :)
Greetings to a new follower. :) Thank you.
Thank you, too. I'm glad to hear that you like the concept.
Thank you. :)
Your conveyor belt trick sounds really great. I definitely will remember that!
I'm so sorry for my late response but for some reason I wasn't notified about your comment and didn't even realize it until now.
The upgrade didn't do much about the fps but it did help me remove certain peaks that made the game stutter every now and then.
There's no such file in the download and I am suprised that you don't know that. I've also tried the redistributable from the microsoft page but for some reason it didn't work.
Where can I tell you about bugs? Like this one: "The program can't start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Probably just a missing C++ redistributable package?
I have something like this in my mind but it's still a long way to go.
I would also like to do that. :) And if I have success I definitely will add it but right now I would have to model and texturise cockpits for all vehicles which is just to much work for me.
Most of your points are fixed in my current build except for the movement speed. The cars need to be able to drive noticeably faster than the player but if they drive to fast, they might get to fast to the edge of the world (like flying to fast in Minecraft). But I'm sure that I'll find a way to deal with that.
Thank you for your feedback. :)
Yes, the roof model isn't done yet. There are so many things left to do that I sometimes don't know where to start. :D
@HelpWithTextures: I plan to make the tiles modifiable as in Minecraft, so you will be able to create your own ones.
FPS while walking and TPS while driving/flying. ;)
I agree with you but keeping the low resolution would have forced me to use a lower resolution for the props/furniture as well. And that just didn't feel right.
Unity Free with some commercial packages however: NGUI, Master Audio, Better Trails, etc.
Yes, it will have a city generator. I totally agree that it would get boring otherwise, too fast.
