Darumasa, represents one of the many techo-magical constructs of an ancient jungle-dwelling civilization, created and tasked with protecting the entry of their great city-state from foreign threats and invaders. But as time passed, unremembered to the guardians limited intelligence, the once great civilization had been undone and wiped off the face of the world together with most of its constructs by a reason unbeknown, be it either starvation, plague, natural disaster or even internal strife and conflict within the lost nation itself. Even the walls and gates of the great city fell to the decaying tooth of time, and the jungle easily devoured the sad remains of the once great civilization. The passage of time and nature also took toll on the construct, chipping its massive body piece by piece with every passing century, but at the same time life took root in the stalwart keeper as well, in the form of plants,trees and a flock of paradise birds, with no apparent objection from the ever-silent giant, not that he cared anyway. Although much time has passed since the departure of his masters, and much more will pass on in he future, many are convinced that the Guadian will still stand.......,and guard the gate.
