You have CPU usage problems with FireFox too? FF hangs more and more.
i have done a website and moddb page edit for SERWD mod Moddb.com - Serwd.x10.mx
please visit it and tell me what do you think :), and on moddb page i can't fix the white bar down there please tell me how to fix it if you know
You need to position the div to have that default TOP (upper) white bar, and let Moddb staff know ( Moddb.com ) about to remove it. ;-)
You should be able to remove the bottom white bar yourself... only the top one must be removed by Moddb staff, or you can use an additional div as a workaround.
The website: nice, personally I don't like white backgrounds. ;-) Perhaps better could be silver/metal plate as a background, and white font, or just black background. ;-)
oh thanks you :D
How did you design the moddb page with two images i tryed it don't work can you tell me how you put in text and made images go togeather nicly.
Thanks :p.
With divs. You can view the page source for more info. :-)
The pattern is:
<div style="background: transparent url(http://YOUR_BOTTOM_UPPER_BANNER.JPG); color: darkred; position: absolute; top: 340px; background-color: #000000; height: 20px; width: 940px;"> </div><div class="table" style="background: transparent url(http://YOUR_BOTTOM_IMAGE_OR_BANNER.JPG) repeat scroll 0% 0%; position: relative; width: 940px; height: 155px;"><div style="padding: 8px; line-height: 17px; color: #ffffff; height: 85px; left: 57px; position: absolute; text-align: justify; top: 25px; width: 452px;"><strong>--- TEXT ----</strong>
</div></div>
Well, first I make a 950x355px pic, then split it into 3 parts: the top one (the top banner) is 155px high, a pic from the BOTTOM of the image, which is 175px high, which is in turn split it into another pics, one is 20px high and the other one - 155px.
I.e. you have an unused img 25px high in the middle (355px - 155 - 155 - 20 = 25px unused in the middle, which cover the space of the panel with "summary members news tutorials downloads videos images forum stats").
Hard to explain. :-D Better to visualise it:
Img38.imagefra.me
1) the top banner
2) the first banner/pic in above divs
3) the second banner/pic in the divs
