Hey guys, this little update is mainly to make up for last week's very small and I would argue pitiful update, and we mainly wanted to tell you all what we will be up to this weekend because it's a big weekend.
Recent Progress:
Anyways, recently, I have been making some major improvements to our documentation. Things like adding weapons, making a fully complete back story, and overall improvements to every area of the design documentation. Also, we have had some concept art progress, and 3d art progress, and brought on a programmer. So, all good news on that front, but this pales in comparison to this weekend's event to come.
What is actually happening this weekend??
We are filming what is called a video pitch, which is a short video (usually about 4 min) that is mainly us talking about Wake Up Call (in this case) and explaining our vision as well as how we will get there. Throw some sick music in there and top it with a kickstarter campaign and we have (hopefully) and instant budget. Now we plan on launching this campaign around Christmas time, and by then we will have stuff saved in reserve to use as updates and to keep it going strong. For those of you who don't know what kickstarter is, here is a link: Kickstarter.com, but I will describe it in short for you guys. Kickstarter is a online service where people can pledge some money to a project in exchange for promised rewards, now this may sound quite risky for contributors, but there is a safety switch built in. A project will only be funded if its goal is reached or exceeded. So the project creators set an amount that they believe is enough to finish the project, and, if the pledges reach that amount, then the project is assumed to go forward and get finished, and the pledgers will receive their reward in due time. You may be wondering what kind of rewards are offered, well, to give you a little sneak peak of some of our possible rewards, preorders (no-brainer), art books, soundtracks, your name in the credits/website as a supporter, and more. Of course the bigger rewards will be more expensive, but kickstarter is great because you can basically donate to us to make this game, and anything more than the funding goal will be put right back into the project to make it even better. Finally, as a result of this, the weekly update may come on Sunday, if I cannot write it in time on Saturday.
Anyways, that was just a quick update, and, if you haven't, please check out the last article, because it didn't get that many hits here: Indiedb.com.

Best of luck. I don't have much, but I'll be sure to pledge a dollar or two, just as a symbol of my support, lol.
