"war is coming to town"! You're taking part of a small team of former elite soldiers, trying to fight their way through to survive and gather intel about what happened. During your missions you will have to find a way to manage your supplies, gather information and observe the surrounding while being forced to find your team, manage your equipment and struggle to survive... Be careful on your decisions, lead the way but never be neglectful, plan and calculate your assaults, but never lose the fight! This will be your hardest duty on missions ever.

Developer's week overview about current progress and scheduled open-beta phase of "The Source"

Posted by on

As you might have read on our social media channels, there were some minor and major changes inside yetanotherIndie.

As stated in an earlier post, I have taken some decisions regarding our internal organization, which I would like to share with you to get you in a better knowledge about the past weeks at yetanotherIndie - First of all, yetanotherIndie's storyline editor and modelling artist Andrea left the team, caused by some private reasons I had. This won't take any affect on our current development of "The Source". Fortunately I had the chance to meet and talk to a freelance 3D Graphics and Model editor from just nearby and I'm very happy to welcome Dirk inside our rows here at yetanotherIndie.

Scheduled open-beta phase during Q3 2015

Unfortunately, as it seems, we're unable to maintain our first scheduled date to an open-beta phase of "The Source". The reasons why I surely have to rethink the focused schedule for an open-beta are clearly the internal shake-up's after I had quit the collaboration with the former storyline artist Andrea.
Right now, with a more enthusiastic creative team behind, we will focus to maintain our new aimed schedule for a first open-beta to be scheduled on Q2 2016.
I really regret this change and I hope our followers and supporters will understand this new step and will continue to support and follow our ongoing development.

Media-page added to our website

We finally have added our new media page to our website; this will help our supporters to follow our current progress and we will continuously add our latest development previews to our media page on our website.

PS4 & Xbox one version of "The Source"

We still bear in mind about a possible development of "The Source" for the next-gen consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox one; currently we are still in touch with Sony and Microsoft about possible future development on their console platforms, as soon we will have some feedback, we will share it with you on our blog and Twitter. Stay sharp ;-)

Sorry but our current development plan actually does not contain any plans for a PlayStation3 release.
