The Hit is a multiplayer stealth-shooter, set in an open-world city with tens of thousands of NPCs. Track down your target and kill them as quickly and cleanly as possible, before the other players can manage it. Try to stay incognito, or photograph other players and take out hits on them.
Here's a better shot of the procedural stairwells.
I've rewritten most of the stairwell code recently, in order to simplify the generated model and speed up the calculations. I'll also be reusing this code soon to generate repeating models like fences and railings.
I've actually almost finished the next part of the stairwell code, which is to add more detailed step models in place of these simple blocks. I'm also a step closer to implementing unified colour palettes for building interiors, so it'll start to look less random.
are the generation engine able to create spiral staircases, i mean, i would be an option tagged for specific buildings :D (Mostly medium residential-medium/low commercial buildings)
Yes, and I've even done a test. I'm sticking with the cubic look for now though, partly because it's simpler, but mainly because I've designed a couple of major features for further down the line, which will be a lot harder to implement with many angles. The destruction system is already tested and working, and I'm also planning on adding water volumes at some point, for floods (think of the scene in Delicatessen for a reference point) and pools of blood dripping down stairs etc.
