They look awesome! Incredible work :D
Always wondered how sprites for Build Games were made, would love to try it sometime...
Will these new sprites be replacing all of the current characters and enemies, or just some?
Cause I gotta admit, seeing various sprites sourced from other Build Games gives it a sentimental charm and flavour, really helping to create that 'shared universe' feel.

Thanks. I am working on replacing sprites that are lower res and/or clash with the build engine look. So far I've replaced several enemies and all the main characters as well. Some sprites we're keeping like Blood, Powerslave, Shadow Warrior since they look fine.

To create these sprites, I replicate the method they used for making Duke Nukem sprites which is rendering still shots from a lit 3d model at 5 angles.

For this Cyberdemon here, I used a Doom 3 base model and modified him so he looked like a hybrid of 3 and Classic. It was a lot of work but I like how he turned out.

I really appreciate it. It's real fun updating a classic enemy but still trying to keep it retro looking so it's recognizable. I did that a lot with most of the Doom enemies. And there's a lot of new visual stuff that we're saving for the interim release. Some things are too cool to be seen there.

Very cool sprites! definitely a fan of those, the old had a certain charm but the new one are more in tune with the overall game...well done! I'm actually creating a new sprite from clay...something simple but it may have a different appeal that the one based on 3d computer models. If I succeed, will offer the new enemy and see if you like it.
