I'm proud to announce that a portion of the profit made from the development of Syndemic will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society! This includes money from the current Indiegogo campaign and any future campaigns in 2013.
However, this association does not mean that Syndemic has been 'endorsed' by the Canadian Cancer Society, and the science I present in the game does not reflect the actual research that they do. To read up on what the money will go towards, check out their site: www.cancer.ca.
The portion I donate is based on whether I reach my goal of $7650 US:
5% of all profit under this goal is donated.
10% of all profit over this goal is added to the initial donation.

My goal with Syndemic is to inspire people to dig into real science and learn about the cool processes that occur all around us. Because of the subject matter, I have a unique opportunity to support real disease research. And if I can provide some empowerment and catharsis by letting players destroy diseases with satisfying weapons, then even better!
