ScrumbleShip is the most accurate space combat simulation devised to date. Gather resources, construct a capital ship out of individual blocks, then pilot it with AI or human help against other players.
A long time ago, while testing a ship equipped with a new chair model, it came under attack by pirates. It won this skirmish, barely, but the relaxation module was blown off. A salvage crew found it 6 years later, and sent an image of it back to us, to confirm it as the lost section.

Looks like crap! :D And that's the idea.
I personally think this would be cool, imagine a ship meant to look like this, with an outer shell of worn plates and stuff, and a fully functional interior with 'lotsa' guns :3
Yeah, that'd be pretty cool! A grizzled old veteran of a ship, not some shining new, fresh-off-the-shipyard-clamps babe. The fact that your ship has lived long enough to look old and crusty should strike fear into your enemy's hearts!
