Description
Adam Savage inspired me to build a Panjandrum and unleash it upon a zombie horde. Who knows, I may just find a way to incorporate this into the game by having the player find blueprints and tasking them with construction of one to get through a certain point in the game.
Hahaha, such great fun to see the Panjandrum being unleashed upon the zombie horde! And to see it explode from all sides at the end of the video was just awesome! It is nice to see that the engine can cope with that many moving things, like so much blood and gore flying around. And I even noticed that when blood falls down on the ground it really makes a blood trail right there where the blood splatters hit the ground. Such small details can't make or break gameplay, but they do add much to the whole experience. At least to mine, but that is maybe because I am somewhat of a game developer myself, (or to be precise; a modder/mapper).

That's great to hear! This was a blast (pun intended) to both build and to record, almost felt like putting together my own short Mythbusters episode. I completely agree on the small details; not everyone will notice them, but they can really add to the experience in subtle ways that immerse the player. My personal favorite is the floppy ears on the small backpack (not shown in this clip but they're in the Circus Mode clip from earlier).
