Project Abyss is a 2D RPG survival game!

Grab your submarine and head to the deepest, darkest depths of the world! Explore the Abyss as you loot wreckages; earning money for upgrades; and buying sonar, drones and more! Swim with a variety of beautiful and deadly sea life, unlocking new subs, commanding drones and completing tasks to unlock new areas, uncover the mysteries below and face bosses that block your way!

Project Abyss is a stylish blend of combat and beautiful aquatic moments. With a great original soundtrack and ambient sounds; we have created a living, breathing underwater world in pixel art graphics. Much of the world destructible, from blowing up doors with C4, to drilling and torpedoing your way through rock for fuel cells and chests.

Survive an often brutal world of enemy submarines, turrets, and poisonous sea life. Fight with sharks and even more mysterious creatures of the depths, armed with various methods of destruction! Keep your fuel going by purchasing more with looted money, or scavenging fuel tanks around the trench! Use claws to reel in the goods you find, or call a drone in to transport the goods to your submarine.

Live inside a realistic poisoned paradise. With AI sea creatures and plant life. There is also a day/night cycle that encourages being sparing with lights. Listen to Orcas splashing against the waves, or the howling wind on the surface, or the creaking of metal inside an abandoned crashed ship. Project Abyss is very ambience-orientated.

Upgrade your submarine and yourself with stronger drills, bigger fuel and oxygen tanks, and more speed. Buy sonars, drones, powerful targetable torpedos and more to help you out! Paint your submarine or buy more ammunition at any of the shops chained around the Mariana Trench location!

The game features more realistic controls than most submarine based video games, operated via turbines using either keyboard and mouse or gamepad! With a hot bar controlling equipment and weaponry use.

Follow a story that unfolds as you progress. Loot interesting plotlines and discover why the trench is so protected, and what is in the darkness deep below.

We do not have a demo version up yet for you due to the security of files but we do aim to include one!
