Have you ever wondered what it feels to be a ghostly being?

You are now the ghost of Mr. Henry B. Knight, looking to drive away everyone who dares to enter your manor. You will have to scare everyone to claim your home back. From innocent little dogs, to ghost-busters and priests who think they can surpass your powers.

Watch them run and scream, scaring them using your intelligence and wit, and with the use of powers like possessions, specters, altering objects and more.

Have fun with each level, play with the occult... and become a Poltergeist!

Good logic game. How can I destroy ghosts-traps in house? (80'es and then)?

You must be referring to The Haunting: Starring Polterguy, which was a Genesis game. Although the theme is similar (and the isometric perspective), we do think its core mechanics are very different n_n. Poltergeist: A Pixelated Horror aims to be more of a puzzle game.

We guess it cannot be helped to be compared, since there are so few games that have this "You are the ghost" theme (about 5-6 in 25 years of games we think?).

We can only hope that people like this new take in this idea n_n.

Might explain why this game felt a bit too familiar to me.

This looks like Haunting for the Sega Genesis, or Ghost Master for the PC. They even have the Ghost Busters like they did in Ghost Master. I'm curious to see what new features that they will add that will set it apart.
