So, why did I decide to change everything? Well, the art style before, while appealing, still lacked some finesse. Therefore I decided to go back and redo every art asset. This was the result; I like it and I hope most [or all] of you like it too!

As for the gameplay, the answer is quite simple: I wanted the game to feel unique. Before it just felt like a cheap knockoff, and that wasn't the intention. So I sat down one evening and brainstormed everything I could do to spice up the gameplay, and this is is what I opted to do. Boy did it affect the game positively! It's now slower-paced, but there's a lot of strategical elements to it that I'm a fan of. You can't just mindlessly spam blocks like you could before.

Anyhow, I hope you all enjoyed this brief update.
