Infinity: Battlescape is a multiplayer space sim spanning a single true to scale star system filled with dozens of planets and moons. Hundreds of players spanning up to 3 powerful corporations of the Starfold Confederacy will fight to win control of the system. The primary goal will be to capture or destroy your enemies infrastructure through a combination of the orbital bombardment capabilities of capital ships and small spacecraft including bombers, interceptors, and corvettes.

Most definitely. The current prop system is included here only as an indication of scale. The final surface prop solution will incorporate dynamic levels of detail based on distance / performance limitations.

Aye, and it's going to be golden. If you can do a falloff rather than a solid edge fade-in, that will help on this scale as well. Especially if there is a way to occlude using terrain to cull unseen placards and the shader can handle it without dithering or flickering as they fade in.
