You are a "grepr" - a remote operator hired to collect data from abandoned cities using an AWK drone. At a time when data serves as currency, a competitor appears on the scene with an identical drone. Find her before she finds you.
For the AWK drone, moving and shooting are the same. It attaches to walls, floors, and ceilings, then launches explosively to its next target. Anything in the way will have its whole day ruined.
Created in seven days for the 2014 7DFPS challenge.

Hello IndieDB netizens! Time for an update on grepr.
The game has garnered a modest but promising amount of attention. Most notably, iDubbbzTV had some great things to say about it. (warning: language)
I mostly agreed with his bigger complaints, so I made a few tweaks:
More importantly, the game now runs on Linux! It's 64-bit only at the moment, but everything seems to run just fine. If the game glitches on you, make sure you have libsdl2-2.0.0 installed.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading!
In Soviet Russia, you are bullet. Some thoughts about completing grepr - an FPS created in seven days for the 7DFPS challenge.
Full Linux release. Runs on 64-bit only. If the game glitches, make sure to install libsdl2-2.0.0.
Full Mac release. Patched version - several gameplay improvements and bugfixes
Very interesting game. When I first loaded it, I have to admit, I was pretty confused. After poking around for a bit I realized how diverse and unique it was. And that's just the menu. Once in the game I found myself surprised at how visually pleasing the game actually was. I am not talking about graphics, but the design. With very plain walls, a bright floor, and glowing enemies I quickly realized how strange, and pretty it all was. The game play is fun once you get the hang of the strange camera mechanics, and the missions can be tedious but fun none the less. I recommend this game. I want to see where this game is going. Definitely tracking!
