Do you like match 3 puzzle games, but often times feel frustrated by the lack of control? You spend time in your typical match 3 game scanning the grid, looking for one of a few limited moves you could make, not knowing what shapes will be dropped on you next. In Gravity Chain, you not only see the next shape coming, but you can place it precisely where you want by selecting the gravity direction and destroying the shape of your choosing. This means with every action you take, you have anywhere between 176-200 possible actions depending on the obstacles that are randomly generated with each level. Unlike other games, you can make multiple moves at the same time. Chain together matches to earn more points, which adds time bonuses. Clear the level of shapes before time runs out!
- Clicking on a block selects it and makes its movement paths appear.
- Clicking on the movement path moves that block in that direction until it hits something.
- Connecting blocks of the same color and pattern destroys them.
- Levels are randomly generated.
- Starting time decreases with levels.
- Matching 3 or 4 blocks at a time adds a time bonus.
- Controlled by only the mouse.
- Destroying blocks adds to score.
- Made with GameMaker.
