Explore

Explore a huge procedurally generated beautiful 3D world and meet it’s inhabitants. Players are not restricted to a single map but can travel across an entire planet. The game is fully multi threaded and simulates hundreds of thousands of flora and fauna. Animals or plants don’t just spawn out of the ether, they have parents and life cycles.

Time of day, seasons, temperature, and precipitation are all modelled and can have deadly effects. Find plants to farm to secure a reliable food supply. Crops can fail from lack of water or an early frost. Poorly equipped characters can suffer from frostbite or worse.


Craft


Gather materials and craft items using a large variety of materials using an extremely in depth hierarchical item system. Bootstrap your colony from nothing. With practice comes the ability to build better weapons and armours and smelt better ores.

Items can consist of multiple parts. For example, a spear could be made with an iron head and wooden shaft. Or it could have a steel head and bronze shaft. Each part affects the weapon’s effectiveness in different ways. Each material has its own in-depth stats. For example lead makes a poor blade for an axe but makes an excellent mace.


Build


Rebuild civilization block by block. A fully destructible world allows you to build anything from a small trading outpost to huge fortresses. Plant farms to feed your people and luxurious rooms to keep them happy.

An intuitive interface makes managing your colony easy. Order your people to build complex structures and sit back as they complete them. Bookmark and easily jump from character to character. Watch them go about their daily lives from a first person view.


Socialise


Characters are simulated in detail. They get hungry, thirsty, lonely, tired, have their own interpersonal relationships, social status, and personalities. The focus is on smaller groups, so you can really get to know your people. You are alone, the only way to grow your population is through raising children.

Depending on your management end up with a cohesive well oiled military machine or a dysfunctional band on the brink of murdering each other. Reward a skilled craftsman with a larger room to make her more productive and watch as her friends get jealous at the unfair treatment.


Defend


Defend yourself from using a deep combat system which models individual body parts, weapon sizes, character skills, and more. Build the ultimate fort to keep intruders out, but beware, some enemies can dig, climb, and fly to reach you.
