Rainbow Panda Studios is a start-up indie company that was started by 10 undergraduate students at The Art Institute of California-Sacramento on October 3rd, 2016. The Studio after hours of deliberation of concepts and ideas, and days to prepare the team put together their game pitch, which was approved on the first attempt to a board of 5 faculty members. First time this happened in three quarters (9 months).
After the game pitch was successful the team then moved onto concept art for environments and characters, assets, level design, and UI design. Through the 4 weeks of hard work, after the approval, the team had a final Game Design Document compiling of 75 pages and was approved for Pre-Production last week.
The game that is now in Pre-Production is called Aeohfin, a 2D side scroller Horror/Adventure game. This game will be set in a fantasy type world involving two main characters throughout the story/game. The game will be about surviving to make it out alive. How you do that, is the real dilemma.
