Episode 3 - "The Voice from the Deep" released
Gundelfingen(Donau)/Germany. The Lovecraftian point and click adventure "A Room Beyond" continues in Episode 3 of the five-part saga. Steam's Early Access program gives access to the first three episodes now. Full release of the complete game including all episodes is expected for Summer 2017.
Synopsis of Episode 3
Fleeing the "Fog Wanderer", a mysterious unseen killer, you are stranded on a shady island. A strange person who was turned into stone is not the only secret that is buried in this desolate place. Traces of an ancient demonic cult are found within the hidden treasures of a world below the water surface. Facing the supernatural will challenge your understanding of reality very soon.
New Features and Contents in Episode 3
Episode 3 is released on Steam on December 1st, 2016. The update extends the storyline told in Episodes 1 and 2 with completely new content. Players explore two new regions, the Twilight Atoll and the Sunken Labyrinth, presented in 80 new screens and camera angles. Players may explore formerly unreachable areas using the new gameplay modes Swim and Dive. The new island region hides a couple of secrets to be explored with new Treasure Hunt interaction. In the course of Episode 3 weather changes cause aesthetical but also interaction variations. Fans of Lovecraftian storytelling will be delighted to know that they are able to summon no one less than the ancient priest Cthulhu. Hardcore gamers are challenged to find seven new Steam achievements introduced in the new Episode.
