Blitz Research Ltd is an Auckland, New Zealand based company, whose mission is to bring games programming to the masses. Founded in 2000 by Mark Sibly, Blitz Research's first product was Blitz Basic 2D, a PC version of the highly popular Amiga Blitz Basic. Soon to follow was Blitz3D, an extension of the 2D version that allowed for the creation of 3D games. Blitz Research's latest product is BlitzMax, an all new, next generation programming language. BlitzMax retains the roots of Blitz3D and BlitzPlus, but adds a ton of cool new features and abilities. BlitzMax, Blitz3D and BlitzPlus are currently published by Blitz Research and have attracted a strong following due to their simplicity, stability and efficiency. All three products are under active development, and owners can look forward to many exciting future enhancements. Blitz Research are committed to providing stable, useful and efficient game development software and tools at reasonable prices.
