Hey guys!
After five long years of blood sweat and tears, Depth is now on sale on Steam!
We are offering a 20% discount to those brave souls who choose to pre-purchase the game, and support us before it releases on November 3rd. Pre-purchasers will also relieve two exclusive skins which will only be available during pre-purchase.
wait... what is Depth?
To put it simply, Depth is a competitive multi-player game where you play as either a shark, or a diver.
Of course, there is a lot more to it than that, and you can get the whole story over at our website.
If you have any ideas or comments for us , feel free to head over to our forums and let your voice be heard. We are a small team of indie developers, and fan feedback is our bread and butter. We look forward to hearing from you :)
Until then, watch where you swim!
love,
The Depth Team
I've been waiting for this for A long time, I'm so happy that its coming! :D
GJ guys. Looking forward to playing this puppy.
WOOT.
Steam exclusive = no buy. Actually, digital buy, so tough luck.
Good luck anyway.
It really is your loss!
That's a mechanical impossibility.
You can't "lose" when not spending. Especially for virtual. It's no investment and it doesn't have ownership because it's not physical. Try to elaborate on what you think is "a loss".
You're "losing out" on the potential experience of awesomeness you would have if you were to purchase this game. It's a figure of speech.
If you want to be completely literal, you're depriving yourself of potentially pleasure by refusing to purchase this game based simply on its' distribution method. Furthermore, you've depriving yourself of the pleasure of the majority of independently developed titles by holding this stance. I didn't even know they released disc based PC games that don't require an online account anymore. They certainly don't have many discs over all in the store.
Oh boy... basically you were expecting an indie developer to release the game by publishing material copies ? Don't you know what the word "indie" means ?
I see plenty of ****** games made by unknown devs on shelves, I doubt they costed them thousands to publish as much as I doubt they do it at a loss. Valve are indies, btw.
Valve is a company, not an Indie group, and publishing costs more than you could expect, rather when you want an indie group to release its game on various countries.
Okay two words for this game- INSANE FUN! Had the opportunity to jump on the beta and here is the end result (1080/Maxed)- Youtu.be
Congrats on the launch!!!
Woo Woo!
Got the 4 pack on the first hour after the release! Already played at my LAN and was really cool! Great job! :)
