Not a silly or leading "poll" on "INDIEdb", at all... ;)

RetroNinja - - 14 comments @ So far you have played more

Been playing games for a good 30 years and making games for a good 25 years, so "AAA", of course.

But the more interesting (to me) games are quickly becoming the "indie" games.

Looks cool. Is the game sponsored by Dragon or does your symbol just look almost exactly like theirs?

Opinions are like ...

The white outline looks fine. It's your style. Don't let someone who can't be bothered to update their avatar throw negativity at you.

RetroNinja - - 14 comments @ Who would you rather be?

You realize there were games just like Minecraft before Minecraft. "Original" nowadays means, "The one people know about vs. the one that failed in obscurity."

This is probably a dumb question, but is the game going back to 3rd person? What's the character for?

Cool stuff.

I don't think engine swaps would be difficult, if you set up your car attributes properly. As far as the art, it should be a separate mesh that's attached to the car, anyway. Like the tires/wheels. You'd only "see" the engine in the shop, anyway, as it's under a hood (or bonnet, depending upon where you live) when you're racing, anyway.

That's a nice looking little game you've got there. Awesome finishing it, let alone getting it on multiple platforms! I'll have to check it out in the Mac Store. Any chance of an iPhone version?

Nice stuff. Makes me miss my 1200XL.

Is everything 2D (as 2D as Unity can get)? Using Sprite Manager?

That's a pretty funny and "constructive" comment coming from a person who's avatar is a dark grey "x" on a black background.

Contrary to the belief of people bred on this generation of consoles/PC, not everyone is looking to utilize power and bandwidth to get closer to "realism". Now, people can pick whatever style they like, even if it's duochromatic abstract structure running.

Besides, realism and busy texture work have been done. (But I really looking forward to YOUR game cinco)

Why'd you change from 3rd-person puzzler to 1st-person platformer?

The controls feel a bit "slippery" for a platformer.

Love the jump-pads!
