AAA games here, mostly because of mods, cRPG and RTS games.
Would be nice to see more isometric RPG & RTS indies, i.e. hardcore RPG/RTS. It's a pity one of such indie projects, The Broken Hourglass, was abandoned.
I'm the same. I used to only play AAA games, but now that I found this place, indie games are creeping up into my games list and dominating my hard drive.
Mostly AAA games, but increasingly indies. I think the reason is that the Internet, which is the primary way of advertisement/contact/distribution for indies, wasn't as widespread some years ago. But if the current trend carries on, I could see indies directly competing with AAA's. Who will win? Gamers will :).
Are we talking recently, or throughout our whole life? If it's the latter, then it's definitely AAA for me, but in recent times as I focus my spending elsewhere, I turn to indie games more often for a cheap yet awesome source of entertainment. Plus I feel good about supporting up-and-coming developers.
I had to say AAA games because, I've been playing games for 30+ years and the indie scene was no where near this prolific until recently. The indie games are quickly overtaking the AAA though.
A short and dirty explanation: AAA games are games you'd buy on a disc for your console. Indie games are the ones that you can only find as downloadables in the store. Obviously not the end-all-be-all definition, but...
A lot of the indie titles have similar quality to the AAA titles that I play. I play mostly indie titles because they are much cheaper and sometimes free. I also play a lot of AAA games, though, because I play a lot of retro PS1 and N64 titles, for example. ;)
I think I'm about split evenly, actually...at least in terms of gameplay time. In terms of sheer number that I own, indie games take the prize with no doubt.

Hardcore Isometric Real Time Strategy coming up. Give me a few months.
You are awesome. That is all.
Indie games for future !

Yes, and besides, Indies are usually cheaper and many of them are extremely enjoyable & addictive - one deadly combination.
AAA games for the most part. (the mods are mostly the reason for playing AAA games). Indies FTW!!!

Been playing games for a good 30 years and making games for a good 25 years, so "AAA", of course.
But the more interesting (to me) games are quickly becoming the "indie" games.
I have no idea what AAA is... :S
Triple A, like, 5 stars...? Big name companies.
