The closer it gets to release the slower updates might come as the issues can become more complicated or focus on more complex corrections rather than contentual or basic errors. Also its nearing Christmas so the devleoper might simply not have as much time or wishes to leave a stable working version out for the holidays and then tinker when they are over

Played the demo - bought a few moments later. A great little title with a lot of fun and the demo gives a good taste of that fun. It's not huge, so if you'r one the fence try out the demo, clear instructions will walk you through how to play and then you can try up to day 3 and get some time really playing the game.

To the developer - there are only two things I would change to what is in the game; the first is side scrolling when the mouse hits the edge of the screen. The arrow keys work, but with many of the controls on the other side of the keyboard and with no clear reason why edge scrolling shouldn't work it feels a little rustic. A quibble but something that could make playing a lot easier (it would also make it a game that can be played one handed by any who have limited accessibility with both hands).

The second thing I'd like to see is a command on the keyboard or mouse and keyboard that allows one to turn units on the walls to change their direction. Currently you can move them to different sections, but they don't always end up facing the way you want (especially for the units that have very narrow fire channels). Late game its not a problem, but it makes early game a fair bit harder.

I feel that with a few refinements there's a very solid game here with a fair amount of room to expand upon the already present gameplay; I hope it gains in popularity and might give room to allow the designer to expand - adding a more complex castle structure (eg outer and inner walls) and a larger defensible area would be one area that could be looked into.

Yep same problem here as well (the steam version appears to be working - or at least there are no complaints on their forums).

Hmm this didn't work, however following the reference to the installed folder and then clicking on the exe manually worked. I think that for some reason the short cut link referenced in desura by the default install is referencing an old name of the exe (which is why it can't find it).

I get the same problem, it states that the projectzomboid32 exe is not a valid exe and fails to launch. Validation of the files isn't working.

I was wondering the same thing, I can't seem to find any mention of a collaberation between the comic and the game makers so I wonder why Coyote is here - I don't think the creator of Gunnerkrigg released their designs for general/commercial use from 3rd parties.
