Wow! The environments look wonderful, with some clever use of lights and colored fog in the distance.
Good luck with further development.

Our new storybook : Timruk on Rock paper shotgun!
Thank you! We are showing the build at an exhibition this week and should release it soon.
Yes there is ao active in the lightmap, though we have it really toned down at the moment. And now that you mention it there is a fair amount of color bleed from all the wood textures, imparting an almost maroon tint to the room!
Thank you.
Yes we went a little overboard working out geometry for the floor and ended up with a rather complex pattern of polygonal wood fragments!
Yes this is Unity 5. But I am not sure how the lightmap seems brighter? Do you mean overexposed or with the shadows not being dark enough?
Perhaps it is to do with how we have the ambient light configured, at a rather light tint to allow visibility of details because the room has a dome for a ceiling and lets in very little light from outside.
Thank you! I am glad you like our art style.
We have indeed been posting on IndieDB for a while now and I am glad to see that our uploads have been of some help! While there has certainly been some paucity of posts of late, we should be uploading some new content soon.
The lush green concept art world looks spectacular! As do the new screenshots.
Thank you for sharing you crafting process in such detail, The character 'Kit' , looks wonderful !
The game looks beautiful, with it's lush environments and painted textures !
Looks interesting! Good luck with development.
Thank you, That is very kind! This was actually a first effort so I hope to get a little better at creating these rocks and landscapes.
Beautiful !
The game looks wonderful and whimsical - I really like the details like the boat tracing rocket trails on water and the helmet turning into a port hole ! Wonderful work - and Thank you for sharing insight into your process in the news posts. Good Luck with further development !
No Problem at all !
And I really do appreciate your creating a video for the game. Hope you enjoy our subsequent releases as well.
Thank you that is indeed a comprehensive video !
In fact there are game play sounds in the video ? I can hear the footstep sounds and the rustling of the inventory when it is opened and closed, even the radio song at one point ( 4:23 ). The volume of the sounds is a little low, but they do seem to be working.
There is actually very little sound in the game world. Only the footsteps, the opening and closing of the inventory and finally the radio. And most of the sound and animations are placeholder. Aspects of the game we are not quiet good at yet !
Thank you for pointing out the grammatical error ! I expect there are a few in there, since we did not spend any time proof reading. Will certainly correct it over subsequent builds.
Meanwhile I haven't been able to replicate the sound error. It is possibly a compatibility issue, maybe compressing the sounds in a different format should solve it ? If we manage to fix it and test it out I will certainly send you an updated link.
Thank you for being so patient with all the rough edges of the build ! and I really appreciate your point out these bugs to us.
Peculiar ! We will look into what is causing it, and try and resolve the same. Could you send me your computer specifications, what Windows are you using ?
Thank you.
No ! The game certainly has sound.
When you start the game there is no sound till the end of the tutorial and then again only footstep sounds till you switch on a Radio. ( These might be hard to hear if the volume is turned down ).
To definitively check whether the sound is working or not - try switching on a radio and see if anything plays ?
If not, could you send me your specs I will look into it !
Hope that helps. Thanks.
Thank you ! We are slowly working towards creating an intricate carefully crafted world - Glad to know it seems to be working !
Thank you ! Glad you like the art for our game.
Thank you for downloading the alpha. It certainly took a while to build and I hope you enjoy your time within our strange game world !
The game looks wonderful and it is nice to get a peek at your development process. For the next update : more details about the characters would be interesting !
Thank you for playing Rituals ! I am really glad you enjoyed the build, and the surreal art.
The game is narrative driven and dialogue heavy, and certainly requires that the player spend time piecing together it's disjointed narrative.
The complete game will certainly continue this art, though as we get better at building the game we do expect to be able to refine it further.
Thanks again for playing !
