C-Family languages are my strong point. I'm currently occupied on Astral Clause.

Hi. I also love space simulation games like Freelancer or X series. Good luck with Astral Clause, I would like to see it finished! ;)

There is going to be a new X game, which is a franchise I like a lot. But yeah, space games (as in 'not a sci-fi shooter/sci-fi RTS') is kind of a niche I guess so it isn't profitable enough. Or something.

Space exploration games are awesome, and the space combat sims were also epic. For whatever reason, you don't see those any more. The Ace Combat series sold well, and to call that a "flight sim" is generous, so why aren't there more space combat games today?

Personally, I blame consoles for the loss of diversity in games we're seeing these days.
