They will be released along with Beta 4. Which is scheduled to release very very soon, but I cant confirm a date. By very soon I mean within a month
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the top 10! Applause all around for the fellow developers. :)
Yeah I did some work for them, and had made that character before the art direction had changed. So they were kind enough to let us use him in Renegade X.
See the change list here: Renegade-x.com
We have an auto patcher in the works, it may not be ready for the first patch, but it is planned to be up and running very soon. So the first patch or two will require manual downloading.
We are working on it. It apparently does not update the server properly when you change the "sort by". So if you use the external launcher or even the ingame browser but dont change the sort order, you will join properly. Like I said though, we're aware of it and are fixing it for the first patch.
Very nice design guys. I wish you the best of luck, I know it can be hard to start an ambitious project, keep at it!
Nope, all you will need is the internet to download the game. Unreal Tournament 3 is not required
Yes, 4 different difficulties with also being able to control how you want the play style for each team's bots to be. Similar to how you could set different styles for AI in C&C3.
This game looks really cool. I can't believe it went completely under my radar. Definitely watching this closely.
Good luck devs!
Congratulations guys, I'm very excited to see another C&C mod has finally jumped onto and taking advantage of the UDK. Good luck you guys!
If you guys have any questions about the UDK, be sure to drop us (Renegade X team) a line, we'd be more then happy to help a fellow C&C community members.
Hehe, not even close. :)
We're focusing a lot on refinement and balancing with Phase II Beta testing which is happening as we speak. We've been meaning to make a new update for some time now, but it's hard to make an update when most of the things to show are done and have already been shown. We are focusing a lot on making the game play well rather than making new maps to show off, or new weapons etc... It's hard to show off gameplay refinement :P
Hey guys, I'm unsure if this has been asked before or not but, will this be only a mod for Crysis Wars? Will it be available on Crysis 3 or even go standalone with the CE3 SDK?
Keep up the good work!
We will be salvaging as many ut3 maps as possible, currently we have been able to salvage a couple of maps, and may do more later. But at the same time we want to do something different then an exact copy of a remake map so that it plays better with our modified gameplay.
Thanks, and yes it will include skirmish mode as we've stated in the game design video update.
You can still download that from the website. However the standalone multiplayer on the UDK is in development, and we will begin to talk about it very soon.
Worry not, an update will present itself in time.
This looks very cool, congratulations guys.
yeah, I had an 8800gt before I got the 560, and I was able to run it just fine, sure it would get a bit choppy at times, but it still runs fine.
I'm getting very tired of the whole half naked babes in games to lure attention, its makes game developers seem very shallow and unprofessional, and I say this as a professional game developer.
I'm glad to see some games are realizing this, for example the new Tomb Raider Lara looks much better then the previous version.
As do most of the other comments here say, please redesign this particular character. Your game looks very professional, but things like things tip the scale in the opposite direction, please don't make this mistake.
Awesome stuff guys. Looks fantastic so far. Also a huge admirer of Alan's work, he is definitely one of the most talented artist I've come across.
Hey guys, thank you all for voting, we could not have gotten 2nd place with out your support. So from the devs team to our fans, many thanks for voting for us.

I've always been interested in the game development industry ever since I first began to play video games in my early childhood, and had begun to experiment and self teach myself about the industry and how things work for a good 6 years before I finally attended the Multimedia 3D Animation program at Humber college to fine tune and enhance my skill set. I started out making mods for video games to eventually start making indie games, as well as various freelance projects. I am currently working at Gameloft in Toronto, and am looking to move further in my career as a 3D Artist.
