You sir, are a ******* moron. The point he's getting at is that they've not shown any gameplay, therefore Akira is full of ****. Regardless of whether you can make 100 floors, 10 floors or 1 floor in the time-span of two years, the fact that Crimson has managed to show a speckle of a functional system within 3 weeks is more evidence to support the theory that Akira is full of ****. Even disregarding Crimson, anyone who has legitimate experience in developing a game knows that this project is ridiculous and what's even worse is that this game managed to climb the ranks of IndieDB.

Nice little quote, but the difference between Apple and Argus is the fact that Woz and Steve Jobs knew what they were doing. The Nerve Gear will most likely be developed at some point in history, though to my understanding no one in Argus is studying neuroscience, which is undeniably essential to the development of a Nerve Gear.

Q: Will there be a Nerve Gear?
A: No, I don't know who told you Nerve Gears are possible, and I don't really care. It's just not possible, at least not within the life time of this project. (It's actually quite entertaining to watch some of these SAO projects on here claiming to be able to make Nerve Gears, and what's worse, hundreds of followers believe in them.)

Haha, enjoyed your comments on the ridiculous #7 of IndieDB. I would say your objective has been nicely accomplished.

Though I am still quite boggled that people believe the claims regarding the Nerve Gear.

Good to know, I only discovered this game today since I don't follow IndieDB. Nice to see people that were interested in the project to actually produce something.

No, that's not why your gullible. Your gullibility is presented due to your quickness to believe one mans claims regarding his development of an MMO without being presented any credentials of past experience or any useful information. The concept of producing a legitimate Nerve Gear only further substantiates this.

I believe at this point the idea of a logical conversation is out of this realm of possibility. "what point of proof will becomming did you not understand? " Your poor use of the English language makes it hard to comprehend some of the things you're trying to converse. Also, your quick resort to profanity only further showcases your immaturity and in turn your lack of qualifications to take part in such a ambitious project.

Though I would be interested in seeing these supposed updates, hopefully included with something less vague than "Floors 1 and 2 are about 85% complete".

From my understanding Akira never declared the project dead, he simply denounced the notion that it was dead, it was other members who declared the project dead. Even in the situation that it did die (where in reality it's always been dead), the fact people would be so quick to rejoin the project after such a situation without requesting credentials only further proves the gullibility of such people.

The Nerve Gear aside (which obviously isn't capable taking into account current research), the first post for this game was in Dec. 2012. This month it will be 2 years of age. It's easy to see why the core members are not well qualified for producing an MMO (won't speak for people recruited, though they're probably in the same situation).

I have yet to see any information regarding the team member's portfolios/educational degrees. 2 years in development one would expect to see some gameplay, a combat system perhaps, anything... but at the very least something functional.

It's nice to have ambitions so I won't try to talk you down but it seems it would be better to develop your skill set before undergoing an ambitious project.

The fact that this game managed to reach #7 is astounding. From reading only a little bit of information, one can easily come to the conclusion that this "game" is being handled by a bunch of inexperienced children, probably 10-15 years of age. The only progress that has been shown to the public is UI work and some 3D models.

Also considering that this team is attempting to create a Nerve Gear system only further asserts the fact that this group consists purely of wishful thinking and is merely an attempt to lure other gullible kids into assisting development. Neurological research is the groundwork for such a system.

Even disregarding this Nerve Gear, the project will obviously never come to fruition as the core members severely lack experience.

The people who believe this development team are merely a bunch of gullible kids.
