The central focus point turned out very good, but the image as a whole is too dark. I'd lighten up the pallete to crimson red.
Most background generators for HW2 need the image to have a 1:2 ratio, and you will have cutting and warping troubles at the top and bottom of whatever image you are using.
well i only edited the first homeworld background since i never made a sherical background in my life, i am "study" hw2 bg, so i edited this map...just to see iff this is the right resulution or size, but the problem is that i can't put it in hw2 because of some incompatibility problems in my pc so i posted this for someone nice to try it and see iff this haves the right size or res.
