One of the Devs here. The latest build open to the public is the same engine, it's in Unity. Unreal is in very early stages of coding, and is unplayable as of now. We're glad you enjoy the old build though, it lets us know we're doing right.

That's an old version, and multiplayer wasn't available, it's a work in progress.

If you are playing the current alpha on IndieDB, then you can press tab and remap the controls, but you can also buy the early access on steam, it sets up the controls automatically, and it will give you the full game when it comes out. Have fun.

This is definitely a great game, there is no doubt about that, but I preferred the controls of the older alpha to the new one. In the older version you could swing from something you grabbed onto, and it was easier to walk. I very much miss the swinging, and the walking was much more intuitive. I feel the game has gotten better, but the controls have gotten worse. I also enjoyed the grip meter and health bar in the previous one. I hope you can fix the problems, because otherwise, this game is awesome.

If they did do that, they couldn't take away our work, we could just reuse a lot of the assets to make an original game. We aren't too worried right now.

Great trailer! I bought this game a while back, and I'm glad there's been an update. This is a great game. The only thing I can say is to possibly improve the UI a bit. Once that happens, I'm sure this game will become very popular.

Oh, so all he did was code. Even more reason to give us the code, in the grand scheme of things he didn't do a lot. I would be willing to give him credit. I just want to continue the game.

All we want is to continue the game. It was going to be a free game anyway. You cannot legally make any money from this game, and if we complete it you can have a whole game on your resume like Notch, he made Minecraft, and quit halfway and he is still considered the creator. If you want to be involved, we will let you have creative control. We want to continue this game. And if you don't help, we will recreate Pokemon Generations and still give you credit. We aren't being jerks, we just want the awesome game that you and us envisioned. Please, let us do this.

Yeah, it might be, but he's not going to continue, and he cannot legally make any money with it, it was going to be a free game anyway. Quitting and saying that we can't have the code, is one of the most stupidly idiotic things he could do. If he doesn't give the code and models so we can continue, he will be written off by fans as the guy who crushed their Pokemon filled dreams. There is no reason he shouldn't let us have it.

Give us the code and models already, we want this game. It's not even your intellectual property. All you made was this specific game. We want to continue this game, it had so much promise. If your not going to continue, don't crush our dreams. Give us the code, and we will continue production in your name. If you want we will even give you production oversight while you work on something else. Don't make the fans angry some already are, and it's getting pretty ugly in the comments. We just want to help.

Looks like a cool project, but i'd rather have actual Pokemon.
I'm not really interested, but if you want to help me, i'm trying to get the files for the game so the fans can continue development. Like all new Pokemon games, you can implement the models you've created as new Pokemon. They are way better than any of the current gen Pokemon, one is a sword, and one is literally a trash bag. If you are with me on my idea to continue development, just say I on my comment towards the top.

One person already in the past 13 minutes not bad, anyone who agrees with my idea say I, and email Xatoku or message him on indiedb to ask him for the game files. We can do this!

If he's not going to continue the project. Then I think we should all ask him for the code and models for the game so the fans can continue development. We all wanted this game. And just because he's quitting doesn't mean we should give up on it. I want Pokemon Generations, and i want a completed game. WHO IS WITH ME ?!?!

Was Nintendo the reason this game stopped development. I was looking forward to this than anything Nintendo has been working on. Does anyone have any copies of the latest version of the game, since the game was cancelled they shut down the servers so i can't download it. If you do have the files upload it to a reputable site like mediafire, dropbox or google drive. Do not upload to rapidshare or megaupload i will not download it. If i can get the game files i might be able to work on the game a little bit and just continue development on my own. If Nintendo has anything to say about that, then they will get no more business out of me. I wish that the Nintendo company would go out of business already so we could have a proper Pokemon game like this. I don't really care for anything Nintendo has been doing recently so it wouldn't effect me. What do you guys think?
