well best i can offer as a fix, is try turning off shadows in the options, it worked for me so may b a common issue

found a work around on the forums to fix this. seems the game isnt allowed to save its settings in a program files fold, so just change the install path to something else and it should stop doing that.

having the same issue and the forums dont seem to b talking about it. and even "worse" the staff are taking a well deserved vacation so we may have to suffer a while
