That painting style doesn't work very well on the buildings.
You should also study some real aboriginal villages in terms of look and placement of the buildings and also the enviroment they choose to build their villages in.

Well, I have a couple more from Max that I want to release since he did leave (more on that in a news update soon). We are getting so close to first-playable though...so this is just some filler while we get everything ready to go.
