dude I would love to see this on PS vita in the mini game section. If it would be possible, how hard would a port be?
Just bought the game.
But after start, the screen remains black :-(
As I read, it should be the graphics driver. But I use debian linux and there is no way to update. It's the first game which doesn't work.
haven't had to deal with Intel graphic chipsets to much. I shall do some research.
You can use backports:
Packages.debian.org
I know the backports - of course. But I do have an intel integrated chipset graphics and there is no benefit in the backport drivers.
Tropical stormfront is the only game with these problems at my pc. All others - including java based games - work perfect!
Now tried the backports xorg and intel-video also... does not make any difference. Screen remains black...
Also, would you happen to know what the model of the Intel Graphics card is? Example: (Intel 915GM)
I would suggest trying to launch the game in a terminal under the /desura/common/tropicalstormfront directory and see if any errors show up in the terminal.
It's an intel i945 and no - there are no errors in the terminal. Program starts without problems - but I see only a black screen.
really nice update, now its really a fun game to play
