Wicked map though, will it be a mission map on a campaign?

It's one of many WBc1 and Wbc2 classic skirmish scenarios that were remade in TPC. This is "The Hot Spot" (I played this map a million times when I was ten!).

Anyway, this picture kind of supplements everything said already for the Spoils of war feature.

Yeah, I remember it now. I also remember a map with a huge skull building in the middle, WBC1 was incredible back then and still one of the best even now.

What was the name of the map with 2 lakes that reached the edge of the map and formed a backwards "S" of land?

Out of the remaining WBC1 maps not remade, only that and Lost City are the only ones I remember.

"Oceans Apart"! (one more for 0.8.7).

Lost city was used as an undead city (we can still remake the wbc1 variant, it was a cool map).

And when boats become fully ready, we can also remake a lot of cool naval/island wbc1 maps.

Now that sounds familiar!
Also, after you mentioned naval maps, I then immediately remembered Island Wars (I think that was its name?). That was the map where there was 1 large main island running vertically down the left side of the map (mostly beach, but there was a rocky area where the Dwarves would start). And to the right was a bunch of smaller islands where the other players started. This was the first map I ever saw a Daemon!

Oh and another naval map comes to mind - a map with a large river going horizontally, splitting the map in 2. The right side of this river was much wider than the left. I believe the bottom island was mostly rock with some dirt. Also Minotaurs started down there?

I will take screens to the wbc1 naval skirmishes and place them in the members folder so we can work this out in the future.

Ah! "Islands of Death" is the one I first saw a Daemon, and "The Good and the Bad" was the other one!
I also forgot about "Diamonds are Forever" and only could remember "The Land that Cracked" in name only.

One of my favorites was the enemy had a big stronghold in the middle and you and a team member had to assault it. Also GOG.com has all 3 WBC games for roughly 6 bucks a piece. :)

That is "Storm the fortress".

The thing is: scenarios previous to wbc3 are not compatible to TPC (or WBC3 - TPC 0.8.6 is also introducing so many novelties that some wbc3 scenarios, even fan made, will be incompatible). So we are remaking this cool classics in the long run.
