I am happy to announce that the map editor (do not mix up with mission editor, which has been in the game from day one) for Steel Storm: Burning Retribution has been released for Windows users. The shortcut for it is available in the Desura client's menu, along with a few new shortcuts that were missing previously.
As a pleasant surprise, I am revealing one of the early development videos of Steel Storm 2:
As more material will become available, I will open a separate account for the game on IndieDb. Meanwhile I will be posting news here. Thank you for your support with Steel Storm: Burning Retribution and if you haven't purchased Weapon Pack DLC for it, please do so as it adds a lot of fun to the game.

I can't find Episode I anywhere. There is a blog post dating to May 26, 2011 where there is mention of "repacking" and that it "will be available on IndieDb/ModDb soon". However, not only is it not on IndieDB, I can't find it anywhere. I also tried finding some kind of announcement of shoving it into a memory hole for whatever reason, but could not find even that much. What's up with that?
Episode 1 is not longer in existence. Please try demo instead.
Would you mind explaining why is that so? (Oh and, I own Burning Retribution, I just wanted an updated Episode 1 for archiving purposes.)
1. Because it was harming sales of Burning Retribution
2. Because it was redundant to have Ep1 and demo.
The purpose of Ep1 was to show people the game. Once demo emerged, it was doing a better job in introducing people to the game. You still can find Ep1 somewhere online.
Episode 1 has been merged into burning retribution. ". The best missions of Episode 1 were placed into a training campaign. The rest were split between Bonus Missions and Lost Missions campaign. "
