Siege of Inaolia, The first game from Riftwalker Ltd, intends to put survival games on the map by offering a refined and fresh experience in the form of a game that pays heavy attention to story as well as a high replay value by means of dynamic combat, a game that promotes skill over spam while remaining easy to pick up. Set in the Dark Fantasy world of Ilastria, a world plagued by wars and magic as well as the orcs and their kin, you control one of three unlikely heroes in their struggle to survive within the ancient fortress of Inaolia, a task that they soon come to learn, has the very fate of the world in the balance.

Hmmm, sterotype Orc vs this skinny orc. Not sure what to say.

The stance is just awkward, looks like something a female would adopt.

We're trying to craft a detailed society for the orcs, in Ilastria they're not all Green-skinned and they aren't all big and strong.

Breaking traditional conventions isn't easy.

The awkward stance is there to try and emphasis how weak and inexperienced they are compared to the others.

Though if you're truly curious the Orc is basically just basking in the light of the sun.

Hey friend, thank you for your advice!

Yes he is bit skinny but in Ilastria Orc is not a kind of army but a race. They have their own society. Grunt is the weakest in this race. Maybe they work as slaves and were taken to be cannon fodder when the war began. Obviously they will be skinny.

But I think it really looks like female and this is not good. I will try to do something to fix it.

Feel free to show your opinion and discuss with us anytime. It will help us to make this project better an better!

Don't bother fixing it.... what an amazing piece of art!!!
Its "concept" art, meaning doesn't represent the final model. Its for inspiration.
I love the concept art for Siege of Inaolia!
please break more traditions! We need something new in gaming!

Like Yan said earlier we're really trying to do something unique, we don't want our orcs to just be another orc race, we genuinely want to flesh em out and while you're fighting them we want you to immediately know where they are from due to not only their skin coloration but their physical differences as well and via this method we'll hopefully give the illusion of just how vast our world is.

Thanks for the approval!

Description

The lower tiers of Orc society is home to Grunts, easily identified as the weakest physical force within the tribe and yet understood as the most savage due to their near infant experience.

While not a genuine threat alone to even the most inexperienced knight a horde of them would easily cut down any foe in their way in their savage lust to prove themselves worthy.

Much like the other Orcs they wield weaponry they fashion out of the corpses of, in eyes of the more experienced orc, unworthy prey.
