ScrumbleShip is the most accurate space combat simulation devised to date. Gather resources, construct a capital ship out of individual blocks, then pilot it with AI or human help against other players.
This is one of out human models after a few shots were taken at him. The results are... squishy. Bonus points to anyone that can tell me why he's wearing a red shirt!
Yes. Shoot an arm, that arm stops working. Legs will be damagable too, but they don't matter as much in space. Shots to the torso and head will be pretty much one hit KO's. I may include body armor, which will take deadly damage and transform it into a small amount of internal damage.
While the "shoot arms off" system is in the future, the internal damage system ALREADY in place in the upcoming 0.14 - Strong impacts with walls provide flashes of red on the screen, and increasing internal damage speeds up and increases the volume of your breathing and heart beat.
Perhaps for tomorrow I'll try to capture a screenshot of the red damage flash you encounter when slamming into a block too hard.
He's dead, Jim.

he was shot by Klingons
So does this mean that players are going to have dynamic damage?

Wow... I cant wait!
"He's dead, Dave."
"Who's dead?"
"Everybody. Everybody is dead, everybody is dead, Dave!"
"..."
"I should have never let him out in the first place.."
Awesome work there. The noise makes it really better to look at and the wounding system looks really awesome too.
What did he do to deserve being shot :(
