A fully dynamic haunting-simulator. Experience the horrors of a haunting that's never the same twice. SEE THE SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS BEFORE PURCHASING. Test out the beta to make sure the game will work on your computer. Features: Free Content Updates: New scenarios, locations, characters, gameplay mechanics, and more! Sleep System: Switch to static cameras to watch the house as you sleep. Creepy Sound Design: Headphone users rejoice! Controller Support: Xbox 360 controller and Mouse & Keyboard support. Dynamic Hauntings: No haunting is ever the same thanks to the complex action-reaction and randomization system I made. First-Person Camera: Much like Paranormal Activity or Blair Witch Project, the view is that of the camera. Intricate Ghost Story: Uncover the mystery through journal entries. Graphics: Unreal Engine 3 makes Paranormal look amazing, implementing many of the latest graphical advances. Push your computer (and sanity) to the limits!
Other than making Paranormal CLOSED BETA 6 available to pledgers of $30 or more, I have begun working on adding more scares to the attic and yard. I've also been working on Situational Endings. Situational Endings occur when the game ends and they depend on where the player is or what they're doing. For example, if the game ends while the player is on the stairs, something different will happen than if the player was in bed when the game ends.

If you pledge $30 or more on Kickstarter, you gain access to BETA 6 and every beta after it. You also get a free copy of Paranormal when it's released!

A Mac OSX version of Paranormal will also be available at launch! Keep funding the Kickstarter to ensure the Mac version gets updates as often as the PC version!
My goal is to release the game by Halloween 2012 (October 31, 2012). If it gets finished before then, I'll have to release it earlier. When the game gets finished depends heavily on your feedback from playing the betas, so please comment on them! Thanks!
We've hit our Kickstarter goal of $800! Let's keep going! Our new goal is $2500! A pledge of at least $20 is considered pre-ordering the game! A pledge of $60 will get you and two friends a copy of the game when it's released! Spread the word!
HELP ME RAISE MONEY FOR PARANORMAL: Kickstarter.com
The Kickstarter project will help fund the game's development, production, PR, and publishing. I intend to release Paranormal on Steam and/or Desura, but I can't do it without your help! Thank you so much!
I'm thinking about donating $30 so I can opt-in for the beta.
I got one question though, how does it work?
After pledging $30, you send me your email address and I add it to the list of permissions to give it access to the Google Drive folder containing the beta. The Google Drive folder is updated with newer versions of the beta every time one is released, so be sure to bookmark it :)
Okay, cool :)
But how do you know if that person has paid when he/she mails you btw?
They message me on Kickstarter and it shows how much they've pledged. And if they donate with paypal, it says their email on the receipt (:
Ah, well then :)
wow that seem allot for a beta
I have only played beta 4 but I have been keeping up with the videos and as far as I can see your heading in the right direction if this keeps improving this will be my favorite scary game i have a few suggestions
that I hope will help out if you can I noticed the statue in the living room when tears of blood came from its eyes the blood didn't look to great it could have been improved, when you try to turn off the kettle in the kitchen it glitch's and doesn't turn off same with faucet,I don't know if this is intended but you can move freely threw the trashcan and other random objects in the game. it would be cool to make a few more interactive things you would be able to do in a normal household maybe drink a cup of coffee or eat one of the fruits on the table it would also be cool to have our character say something every now and then and in the title screen if you could access a screen to the trophies you have already unlocked that would be nice also the wiji board adds a nice creepy feel to the game I hope to see more advances with it I love the sound effects to I also wish you best of luck with building a solid background story that really makes the game worth playing
i have some suggestions:
add a ghost to the screams
add more statues to the cardboard
[Why is the TV so big?]
add more dialog to Matel.
make the faceless statues scarier.
When will beta 7 paranormal
Beta 7 is in progress. I'm adding tons to it, so it could be a few days :)
