Onfal Windows game

You are a wanderer, just another denizen of this dying world. The elders foretell the end, the church seems to have abandoned its faithful followers and every knight sworn to protect the realm do not seem to stand a chance against the evil that lurks in every corner. Play as a blessed theurge, a dark sorcerer or a cunning burglar in this medieval dark fantasy RPG and become the world's doom or salvation. Onfal attempts to recreate the retro style of the old hack and slash games with an addition of RPG elements, updated graphical features and much more to be revealed.

IMPORTANT: The project is still in development and thats why you will recognize many elements belonging to the famous DIABLO saga ( our main inspiration ). We are using a grid system identical to the one used in Diablo 1, the assets from the original game help us a lot when it comes to programming AI behaviors, character movement and the positioning of different assets. We are VERY aware that it is not legal to release the game featuring original Diablo 1 or 2 assets, so rest assured that eventually they will be replaced by our own creations. Until that time comes, we will use them as placeholders to keep developing the game. Since our main goal is to emulate the Diablo 1 looks and feel we thought that it would be a good idea to use them as a starting point and to avoid slowing down the development of the project while we create our own assets.
