K.I.S.A (Legacy) Windows game

"K.I.S.A is, essentially, a fairytale masquerading as a video game. You play as the titular Kisa, a young girl accused of witchcraft and sentenced to be burned at the stake. The night before the execution, a mysterious disembodied voice instructs you to break out of the dungeon and propels you on a quest across treacherous and fantastical lands to rescue a princess in mortal peril. The game is a side scrolling, 2D platformer/beat 'em up with retro graphics. Completing the game will require run-and-jump timing towards the beginning and good combat skills towards the end, as well as some puzzle solving throughout. Several levels of difficulty are available, the highest of which may result in hair loss and nervous breakdowns - you've been warned. While the gameplay could definitely stand up on its own, the tale woven into the game is what I think makes K.I.S.A unique and worth playing - it's certainly why I think it's worth creating." ~ Description from developer's page
