Hexterminate is a top-down shooter being developed for Windows, which puts the player in the role of an Imperial Captain with the mission of reclaiming a galaxy shattered by centuries of in-fighting. I've added a new event type, enemy strongholds. These are only present in neutral sectors and have extremely resilient void shields, making them very tough nuts to crack. EMP torpedoes to bring down the shields are a possible strategy, if you can overwhelm the anti-missile defense module.
