An old school shoot'em up with a modern twist. Futuridium EP offers fast paced, non stop, hard as hell action, with an original 45 minutes soundtrack and colourful, glitchy graphic. Free, on Pc Windows, Mac and (soon) Linux.
Hi everyone! Last two weeks were a nightmare, we had a ton of works to do and very strict deadlines. What's worst: almost all the work was more marketing related than game development related but, as a small indie team, we can't stress enough how important it is to do all your homework right and take the time to sort our properly also the 'boring' stuff.
Developing is cool, but spending (sometimes a lot of) time on the business side and on the marketing side is crucial.
And in the next two weeks we'll finally see the results of our works: we have two major announcement to make, and we are super excited about it. Today we can tease a bit the first one: more Futuridium is coming.
Ok, let's say it louder...
MOAR FUTURIDIUM IS COMING!!!
Stay tuned for the announcement on tuesday, february 18.
Meanwhile, don't forget to download and enjoy the free Futuridium EP on PC/Mac here on indieDB, Desura and the Mac App Store. And if you feel generous, take a look at the iOS version of the game, it's only 1.99 on the App Store.
The game is also lost in the Steam Greenlight limbo, an upvote is much appreciated!

Eres el mejor gracias por hacer juegos de Futuridium EP sigue asi
I love this game! but there should be multiplayer where other players compete against each other in tdm or collecting the most energy boxes
Why does it list Linux as a platform, but won't install because it's "not supported on this platform"?
Hi, Linux version is coming! It needs some more works. ;)
Is there any way for the Futuridium Launcher to remember its settings? Every time after I quit the game and restart, the Launcher will forget the window mode settings. The user is then forced to re-enter this info every time to play the game. The OS I'm using is Windows 7. Will this bug be fixed?
ehhh... it was ok, but honestly I expected more
1. some rather poor level design in various places imo, for instance the two parallel rows in the second level that are stopped at the end by a block, really hard to get at them without dying
2. having to map the controls for joysticks? not being able to use triggers? c'mon
3. I would prefer a movement system where you changed your rotation and flew in that direction rather than just strafing up/down/left/right, but maybe that's just me
pros - pretty well optimized, looks good, sweet music
Hi!
1) The level design is studied so the player has to take risks and to learn how the level are designed to maximise the score and avoid the obstacles.
2) You should be able to use all the controllers buttons, triggers too, by mapping them in the Input menu in the first dialog. The version that is out now is natively mapped for the Dual Shock 3 on Mac OSX but you have to map the joypad on a Windows PC. The Xbox 360 joypad is fully supported.
3) Yeah, but the game would have been very different. ;) It's designed to have very strict movement rules so you have to take risks. ;)
Thanks for trying out the game!
