A quick rundown of the items in the game so far, and a video demonstration
Posted by DuncanKeller on Jul 23rd, 2012
Well, here's another video showing off the items in the game.
I don't have too much to say about it, but I hope it's at least kind of interesting. Maybe I should have talked more about my reasoning for adding the various items in the game? Developer stuff tends to be more interesting.
Well, for starters, I wanted the items in the game to lend themselves well to different classes. In fact, each class originally had a special item that they could buy just like the capitalist. For instance, the stoneskin potion is really useful to the powdermonkey, who focuses on heavy attacks. But it can also be used to confront him. The acumen is useful to the ninja, to see when enemies approach, but other classes can use it to thrwart him (with a careful eye).
I'll get the hang of doing recordings eventually, I hope. In the meantime, I hope the game can speak for itself. Thanks for watching everybody!
