This is a 2D sandbox game that simulates a small town called Despicaville. The civilians of Despicaville go about their daily lives, satisfying their needs (hunger, thirst, sleep, etc) and attending their jobs. They're capable of committing petty crimes (if they're desperate enough) or reporting ones they've witnessed to the police who try their best to hunt down the criminals matching the descriptions they receive. It's a fairly typical American town... until a serial killer starts to plunge it into chaos.
However, you're not trying to catch the serial killer... you are the serial killer.
